Hello there! Welcome to Papertrey Ink's Throwback Thursdays feature. Today we are revisiting the oh-so-irresistible Doodlie-do stamp set, one that I love playing with!
The technique I used to create my blossoms is so simple. I stamped my flowers and leaves on white cardstock using watermark ink. I then heat embossed each using white embossing powder. Next, I sponged color on over each of my heat embossed images...this is such a fun technique.
I then cut each image out using the coordinating Doodlie-do dies and assembled them over my Leaf & Sprig frame, die cut from Lilac Grace cardstock.
I stamped a few leaves and the sentiment inside the frame and added paper from the Make it Market Mini Kit: Bloom & Grow across the bottom to tie my colors together.
There's lots to see on the Papertrey Ink blog....you'll want to see what the other amazing designers did with this set!
Thanks for stopping by!
Melis
