petal box die...

Get ready to fall in love!  The sweet, new Petal Box die from Papretrey Ink makes for the cutest gift-wrapped packages in just minutes.

 They come together with just two cuts of your favorite cardstock or patterned paper and then the fun begins...personalizing them and prettying them up :)

The Petal Box die collection comes with a number of tags in various shapes and sizes, but each perfectly fit for the Petal Box.  I've used the new Beautiful Berries:  Summer stamp set and dies to embellish my first box, adding a junk bow to dress it up, along with a large, rusty safety pin, buttons, and twine to attach my tag.

 My next Petal Box uses burlap patterned paper, which goes with just about anything, so I added in stamped florals using the new Garden Party stamp set and dies.  

My sentiment and patterns stamped on my tag are from the new Textile Impressions stamp set...such a versatile stamp set to have in your stash.

year of psalms: june and land that i love...

Hello again!  Today I'm sharing a couple of cards created with new Papertrey Ink products, the first using the new Year of Psalms:  June stamp set.

This is a beautiful, little mini set, with such a gorgeous font used for the Psalm and soft, ethereal images included to create your own, serene scene.

I love the new Land That I Love stamp set!  I'm a big 4th of July lover and any set that celebrates the birth of our country is one that is near and dear to my heart.

The firework images can be used on their own or used together to create more movement and depth, such as shown on my tag.  I love the bursts of celebration they add.

And the sentiments are unique and completely perfect for this holiday...love it.  More details on how I created this card can be found on Nichole's blog too.

humming along...

Morning!  Today I get to share with you a card created for Papertrey Ink using the new Humming Along stamp set and coordinating dies.  These lovely products along with all of the other new items are available now.

I began with the new Mix & Mat:  Pretty Brackets dies in the background, sponging on Summer Sunrise ink to create just a bit of soft color.

I then die cut and stamped my Humming Along images as well as Beautiful Berries:  Summer images...these two sets compliment each other so beautifully.

introducing beautiful berries: summer and to the point edgers...

Good morning!  It's Saturday and the most perfect day to introduce you to the most delightful, new stamp set and set of dies from Papertrey Ink.  Beautiful Berries:  Summer is to die for!  It's safe to say, that I am in love :).

These sweet little berry clusters come to life as you add each layer....I am amazed by the beautiful shades of berries created with simple 2-step stamping.  The sentiments included are darling too and suitable for celebrating friendship.  I added in a few flourishes from the Fancy Flourishes stamp set and flowers and vines across the top from the Choose Joy stamp set.

The new To the Point Edgers dies are so much fun!  Scallops, zig zags, stitching, etc.  LOVE them all :), and they are fun to layer one on top of the other for more character and personality.

I created a pocket tag for my next project, beginning with the Basic Bookmark 3 die.  I simply folded up the bottom portion of the tag, stapled it at the sides and then added my sentiment from Beautiful Berries:  Summer.

These summer berries are perfect for decorating jars of jam, jelly, preserves, etc. 

I created a smaller tag using a new die you'll hear about soon, but is the perfect size to hold a couple of clusters of juicy berries.

Lastly, I used the To the Point Edgers die at the top and bottom of my watercolor card base.  After stenciling on my ink (using another new product I love), I heat embossed my sentiment from Pen & Ink at the bottom.

I then added some vines, leaves, and flowers from the Gathered Garden stamp set and finished with my Beautiful Berries:  Summer.  They are truly just so stunning once they come to life with ink.

reverse confetti - june blog hop...

Hello there!  It's been a little while since I've posted, hasn't it?  I'm still here....and have a little something for you today for Reverse Confetti's June blog hop!  I created my card today with my sweet friend, Jen del Muro in mind...the owner of Reverse Confetti.  She's a gem, a fighter, an inspiration, and so very kind and generous.  My heart is with her.

I used a sentiment from the Circle Wishes stamp set, layered over a die cut Sunburst Tag Layer with Pattern Play paper in the background.

I added a few felt hearts, die cut using the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts.  In the background, I've used the Large Eyelet Cover Panel, sponging ink lightly over the surface in coordinating colors.  This was such a fun card to male :).

throwback thursday - simply framed...

Good morning, friends!  I'm here today with Papertrey Ink's Throwback Thursday and this week we're revisiting the Simply Framed stamp set.

I created a background by stamping images from this set on Kraft cardstock and then added a few images to the front of my card, stamped on a die cut Spiral Notebook Page.  The stripes across the bottom are from Simply Framed as is the "Remember This" and star, stamped on the tag from the Carrot Treat Box die collection.

I added in sentiments from a couple of other stamp sets, including the Heart & Sole and Keep it Simple:  Father Mini stamp sets.  I then layered my completed Spiral Notebook Page tag over a larger die cut tag, cut using the Monthly Moments:  Journal Card 6 die.

Simply Framed is such a fun and versatile stamp set....it's so easy to plug in the images found in it to suit any occasion.
