throwback thursday - simply framed...

Good morning, friends!  I'm here today with Papertrey Ink's Throwback Thursday and this week we're revisiting the Simply Framed stamp set.

I created a background by stamping images from this set on Kraft cardstock and then added a few images to the front of my card, stamped on a die cut Spiral Notebook Page.  The stripes across the bottom are from Simply Framed as is the "Remember This" and star, stamped on the tag from the Carrot Treat Box die collection.

I added in sentiments from a couple of other stamp sets, including the Heart & Sole and Keep it Simple:  Father Mini stamp sets.  I then layered my completed Spiral Notebook Page tag over a larger die cut tag, cut using the Monthly Moments:  Journal Card 6 die.

Simply Framed is such a fun and versatile stamp set....it's so easy to plug in the images found in it to suit any occasion.

Two timely card designs that are so well created. The layering on the first card is so well coordinated. The design of the second card has such well-selected wording. Thanks for both.
