Hello! Welcome to the Papertrey Ink September Release Countdown. Today I get to share with you a few projects created with the darling Quoted: Favorite Things stamp set.
My first projects is a card, using this sentiment in the center of a die cut Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs. I cut it from Vintage Cream cardstock and then added color around the edges using my Zig Clean Color Markers and a water brush. I then added some glitter to each of the pink berries.
I stamped my sentiment in Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Vintage Jadeite, and Mint Julep with the strings stamped in Spring Moss. I added a strip of paper from the new Simply Chartreuse Bitty Big paper pad down the center of the card before adhering my stamped die cut.
Next I created a tag using Kraft cardstock and the new Holiday Tag Along die. I began by stamping my sentiment to the center of the tag using watermark ink and then heat embossing the sentiment using white embossing powder. I then smudged on white ink around the edges.
Making my holiday tags extra glam is my favorite thing to do when dressing up my holiday packages, so for this tag, I embellished using the new Beautiful Berries: Winter stamp set and dies, stamping my berries in Aqua Mist, Mint Julep. Ocean Tides, Simply Chartreuse, and Ripe Avocado.
I then added a few snowflakes to the back of my tag using the new Silver White Winters die collection....LOOOVE!
Lastly, I created a gift card holder using the new Gift Card Cozy die...this thing is so cute! I die cut it using Kraft cardstock and then added sheet music to the flap of the gift card holder.
I then used Olive Twist and stamped just a portion of the sentiment from Quoted: Favorite Things. The string was stamped in Honey Nut with the berries in Pure Poppy and leaves in Pinefeather. I love all of the bitty images available in this set.
I embellished with baker's twine and a clothespin clipped to the tiny tag found in Quoted: Favorite Things. And, lastly berries from the Brilliant Baubles stamp set...you'll love this one too! It's the most magical month for holiday sets :).
The products used on these things will all be linked to the supplies in the Papertrey Ink store once they're available on the 15th. Until then, there's plenty to enjoy on Nichole's blog.
Thanks for your visit!
Melis

Melissa-I love the Mix and Mat card--that stitching line is the perfect detail. The DP strip adds so much and of course I love the junk bow. The gift card cozy is really nice, too! I love the music paper added to the flap and how you stamped part of the quote on the back. The tiny heart tag is so sweet!

Melissa! WONDERFUL PROJECTS!!! I LOOOOVE this Quote! It works for men too! LOL After reading my hubby this verse, he told me that Historical Events, trying to remain historically accurate will wrap things up in brown paper with linen thread! ;) Your card is GORGEOUS!!!
