Hello! At long last, it's time to reveal the new Make it Market Kit: Wonderland from Papertrey Ink and Betsy Veldman! These Christmas crafting kits keep getting more beautiful each year! Here's a bit about this spectacular kit:
How about a few projects created just for you using this darling kit? I admit to immediately being drawn to the vintage truck carrying a Christmas tree, so my first project uses these very elements :).
I created a couple of tags cut using the fun and unique birch-print paper ribbon...it's AMAZING! I then layered on die cuts, stamped images, and my tiny bottlebrush tree to complete the scene. I used bit of items from the embellishment kit to dress up my tag, attaching it to a tiny gift box,
I created a second tag using the same elements, but incorporated different images and dies, creating a totally different scene.
The colors using in this kit are so varied, from bright, bold, and festive, to more subdued and serene. And, the detailed stamps and dies are just jaw dropping!
Next up is a sweet scene nestled inside one of the darling cloches included in the kit. Oh my! These have to be the cutest things ever and once filled they are irresistible!
I used the 3-d truck die and stamps to create my pick-up truck and tucked it inside my snowy scene surrounded by stamped trees and a bottlebrush tree. After my items were all adhered to the base of my cloche, I sprinkled in some of the faux snow and it completely changed the look and feel of my winter scene...love this stuff!
I attached my cloche to one of the wood slices and added my stamped and die cut sentiment along with holly leaves, all found in the kit. The base of my cloche was dressed up using some light blue adhesive scalloped ribbon, also found in the kit. Such a pretty color and I adore the scallops :).
My last project is a card created with one of the stencils found in the kit, creating a soft background for my bold focal point. I sponged on Fine Linen ink over my stencil, loving the effect.
I then added my die cut scalloped oval, cut from Scarlet Jewel cardstock, and my winter scene, created entirely with stamps and dies found in the kit. Across the bottom of my card I added a strip of Birch Print Curling ribbon...a treat in itself :).
That's it for now, but you'll be seeing much more of this kit and projects created with it here on my blog. It's a dream and so hard to put down :).
Lots more to see on Nichole's blog...shopping begins October 1, at 10 PM EST!
