Good morning! Welcome to another day of fun, new releases from Papertrey Ink. Today we're celebrating all-things birthday with the most delightful new products.
My first card uses the new Birthday Balloons and Birthday Strings stamp sets. I stamped a variety of the images from the Birthday Strings stamp set across my card base, stamping in Pale Peony, Mint Julep, Summer Sunrise, and Aqua Mist. I LOVE this set...the font used is amazing and a new favorite of mine.
I then used Sheer Basics Vellum and the new Mix & Mat: Confetti dies to create my focal point, sponging on ink over the surface of my confetti die cut. Next came balloons, stamped in the same colors used on my card base. The Birthday Balloons stamp set has a coordinating die, which makes these little balloons pop! The tiny banners with typed sentiments were added last, with the sentiments coming from the Birthday Balloons stamp set.
I used the new Never Enough: Birthday stamp set on my next card, with the Birthday Balloons Stencil Collection used in the background. I sponged Harvest Gold ink over my stencil and then used the outlined image of a birthday balloon (from the Birthday Balloons stamp set), to outline each stenciled balloon.
I then added my stamped and die cut cake and "Make a Wish" die cut from the Fiesta Flag: Birthday stamp set. They are adhered to a die cut tag, cut using Sheer Basics Vellum....I can't get enough of this stuff :).
My sentiment across the bottom comes from the new Never Enough: Birthday stamp set. I added Chicken Scratch Gingham paper across the bottom as well as my fun scalloped border, which comes from the Mix & Mat: Confetti die.
So much more to see by visiting the Papertrey Ink blog. All of these new products will be available on January 15th, 10PM EST.
Enjoy!

Melissa I always love how soft your cards are. Both of today's are adorable with the balloon card being my favorite.

Wow...your Birthday Balloons card is particularly stunning! All the elements came together so beautifully. I couldn't help but express a contented *sigh*. It warmed my heart on this cold winter day. You are so gifted!
