Hello and welcome to the final day of releases for Papertrey Ink. Today I have the pleasure of introducing you to the new Life is What You Bake It stamp set and coordinating dies. It's a fun collection for sure!
I used the new Mix & Mat: Confetti dies for my background, cutting the bottom layer from Berry Sorbet cardstock. I then layered on the top layer after adding my sentiment in Mint Julep from the Life is What You Bake It stamp set. Isn't that such a fun image?
Next I layered on my stamped and die cut images, stamped in Pure Poppy, Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Mint Julep, Spring Rain, ad Aqua Mist. The heart stamped on the pink bowl along with the speckles added to a couple of the bowls are from the Confetti Sentiments stamp set. I added Bitty Big Aqua Mist across the bottom.
I used a sentiment from the new Confetti Sentiments on my next card, mixing in images from the Life is What You Bake It set.
I love those fun, little bowls...they are fun to dress up and add character to by using smaller stamps. I used a couple of Monthly Moments: Journal Card dies to create my focal point on this card. And...I love the sentiments included in the new set...so unique and special.
I created a border across the bottom of my card using the tiny flowers and leaves found in the new set, along with some confetti sprinkles found in the Confetti Sentiments set.
Lastly I created a tag using the Basic Bookmark 3 die. I added more stacked mixing bowls, stamping in Berry Sorbet, Pale Peony, Summer Sunrise, Aqua Mist, and Spring Moss.
I chose to use a sentiment from the Choose Joy stamp set because of the fun meaning behind it and how it relates to the stacked mixing bowls.
The team has lots more to share with you on the Papertrey Ink blog. Remember all of these new products will be linked and available at Papertrey Ink on January 15th, 10PM EST.
Enjoy your Sunday!

Melissa, I am so grateful that you remind me to use the little stamps that are included in the sets. They add so much to a design, as perfectly shown in your cards today.

What?!?!?!? Never seen a pink mixer?!?!??! You need to visit my hometown of Greenville Ohio where all the KitchenAid mixers are made. You can go into the retail store and see a mixer in every color you can imagine...I think there are 3 shades of pink (not including the raspberry one!). Adorable cards today.
