Hello there! What a fun announcement from Papertrey Ink this week! It's their 11th anniversary and with that comes the beginning of a new term...so very happy to get to continue to create with their inspiring products. Thank you, Jane & Julie and my fellow PTI team members.
If you haven't tuned into the Papertrey Ink blog, there are contests and activities AND giveaways throughout the February release celebrating their 11th birthday. The first challenge is based on card sketches from each of the designers. Select a designer's sketch and create your own! Mine is displayed above for you and I decided to create something new based on that sketch in order to kick off the anniversary hoopla!
I used the Mix & Mat: Hearts die and Pure Poppy cardstock for my background. I then used the Stitched Rectangles die and Bitty Big: Aqua Mist paper for the center. The Brushed Blooms stamp set and dies have always been a favorite of mine, so they were used along the side of my card, just as a different floral set was used in the original card sketch.
My sentiment is formed using the Wonderful Words: Love die and the Pen & Ink stamp set. One tiny little butterfly finished off my card and came from the Color Pop: Butterflies Mini Kit.
I hope you'll find a bit of time to play along....I'd love to see what you create!
Thank you for your visits.
Melis
