Good morning! Welcome to the Spellbinders May Blog Hop. I'm so excited about the new products I get to share with you today...the Romancing the Swirl die collection from Becca Feeken. They are beautiful and so much fun to create with.
If following along on the hop, you may have arrived here from the wonderful Yana Smakula's blog!
And, your next stop on the hop is the talented Elena Salo!
I've used the Shapeabilities Ringlet Round Etched Dies on my card. I began by die cutting my swirls from white cardstock. I then sponged on ink in shades of pink and orange. I layered my die cut over a soft shade of yellow paper, cut using the same die collection.
I then created my focal point and sentiment using the center die from this set. I die cut it from white once again and stamped my sentiment using watermark ink and then heat embossed it using white embossing powder. Again, I sponged ink on in the same shades as before.
A bit of water was added and once it had dried and pooled a bit, I added it to the center of my card. I then embellished with beautiful, intricate die cuts, the white being from the same Ringlet Round die set, and the pale yellow from the Swirl Tags die set. I embellished with some coordinating chipboard flowers from the Spring Market collection by Carta Bella and sequins.
Such a fun card to create and truly such a delightful die collection...can't wait to use them again!
