Hello and Happy Mother's Day! I hope that wherever you are and whomever you're with, that your day will be special in some way. We are continuing the Papertrey Ink May release and today's post is all about celebrating Summer!
My first card uses the new Stars & Stripes and Celebrate with a Bang stamp sets and coordinating dies. I have always loved the 4th of July since my birthday is just a couple of days before, so creating for the 4th is extra fun for me and these stamp sets are so playful and unique.
I've also used the new Cloud Stencils in the background along with the Baby Mine stamp set to accent those fun clouds. They are sponged and stamped in Hawaiian Shores ink. I've also used Pure Poppy, Limeade Ice, and Tropical Teal for my color palette. The new Bitty Big Limeade Ice paper is juicy and pairs up so perfectly with many different colors. I used the Fun Frames die to frame in my sentiment.
The new Kaboom stamp set, dies, and stencils were used on this card...there are so many beautiful samples using these products from the other designers...you must check them all out.
I used the new Weathervane cardstock for my bottom layer, stenciling the fireworks in using Scarlet Jewel and Dark Indigo ink. I then stamped more fireworks from Kaboom using watermark ink and heat embossing them using WOW! Salsa and Fairy Tale embossing powder.
Vellum is such a fun element to use, so I've combined it with these fun stamps and dies as shown here. My layers are all nestled together using the new Noted: Pinked Edge 2 dies. To tie all of my colors together I added a strip of Scarlet Jewel cardstock along with Bitty Big Dark Indigo paper.
There's so much more to see on the Papertrey Ink blog. All of these new products will be available on May 15th, 10PM EST.
Enjoy your day!
