Hello! On this lovely Throwback Thursday, a few of us Papertrey Ink designers are revisiting the fun, Grand Ampersand stamp set. It is playful and unique and a sure-fire way to jumpstart your creativity!
I created a soft, watercolor wedding/anniversary card using Grand Ampersand, combining it with the Gathered Garden stamp set. I began with a Mix & Mat: Brackets die and watercolor cardstock. I then sponged ink over my surface area in Aqua Mist, Hibiscus Burst, and Summer Sunrise. Next, I spritzed it with water and let it dry.
Then came the stamping. I added Gathered Garden vines and leaves by stamping them in watermark ink and heat embossing them using white embossing powder. The center frame was stamped and heat embossed this same way. I then added my sentiment and fun little arrows from Grand Ampersand to the center of my card. To finish, I added a few flowers from the Color Pop Mini: Floral Kit.
Such a fun card to create and all because of the Grand Ampersand stamp set helping my creative mo-jo!
