Morning! A few of the Papertrey Ink designers have a sweet, springtime set to share with you today. We are revisiting the In Bloom stamp set, which is so timeless and elegant. I was so inspired by Lizzie's Make it Monday this week, that I used her Above and Below idea for my card design. Thanks Lizzie!
I stamped my florals on watercolor cardstock using watermark ink. I then heat embossed each image using white embossing powder. Next, I sponged ink over my embossed images and added water to blend them together. I added a bit of color using my Zig Clean Color Markers as well.
Once my images were dry, I melted embossing enamel over each and then cut each out. I stamped my sentiment on a strip of Stamper's Select White cardstock using Amethyst Allure ink. I trimmed it to fit across the front of my card and added Bitty Big Lilac Grace paper and my stamped images. Lastly, I added a few vellum vines, cut using the Branching Out die, and finished with adhesive pearls.
Such a fun set to revisit...love it even more now than I did the first time I used it.
Products are linked for you below and there's plenty more for you on the Papertrey Ink blog.
Thank you for your visit.

Hi Melissa! What a beautiful, beautiful card. Your fresh take on this stamp set is inspiring. Your embossing changes the look of the flowers and they look like vintage lace. I remember the double embossing in the Stamp a Faire, it's a technique I have used and enjoyed because of you. You are an artist that continues to inspire us and stretch the use of our products. Thanks so much Melissa. :)

SIGH!!! Melissa, the colors you've chosen are STUNNING!!! I LOVE the complete layout-- with the flowers, & vellum leaves, the polka dots & the sentiment snuggled in....TRULY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) (I LOOOVE purple too! That color reminds me of good times....So, your card speaks to me on that level too! LOL) ;)
