I am so sad to see your post today but I completely understand that doing what is right for yourself is so important. Many of the beautiful things you created over the years adorn various areas of my home so you are never far from my thoughts! I do hope to see you post from time to time. Things always happen for a reason. Wishing you many blessings.

I miss you already Melis!! You are my all time favorite designer and I love to visit your posts, over and over. All those gorgeous details! May you be blessed with health, happiness and joy!

we all need to step back sometimes and just concentrate on ourselves - sometimes it just isn't an option not too.I hope we will still hear from you from time to time. your cards are always identifiable immediately and I love reading your posts and seeing your gorgeous color combos. When my card is too plain I always ask myself "what would Melissa do?" I can't replicate your style but it always gives me inspiration to look back at your work. Best of luck to you and your little family.

You are the start to my day! Your creations are the most inspiring of all the sites I look at. I am wishing you all the best and a happy and peaceful life! We will all miss your posts but your health and well being are more important than any of that! My cardroom is full of your spirit! Let us hear from you once in a while. My prayers are with you. Hugs Georgia

So sorry to hear that you are leaving PTI also. I always love your creations. Prayers that you and your family are soon healthy and you are able to share some creations in the not too distant future.

Your beautiful creations have inspired me and so many others who have followed you from the beginning on PTI. You have the most unique style and I can spot your amazing artwork way before your name appears.
Wishing you only the very best dear Melissa in whatever direction you are going and definitely look forward to seeing your gorgeous work soon. {{{HUGS}}}

Oh my goodness!!! I feel like MY life is falling apart with all of you gals stepping down at PTI. It breaks my heart something awful. I have followed all of you since day 1 and have always said, PTI gals are THE best in this industry. You have been my favorite with your feminine style and soft color palette. I loved the pics you shared of your darling girl (how old is she now?) and well, I’m just darned sad. I hope you are ok and nothing serious is going on with you. You will be SORELY missed my friend. God bless you and I’ll be watching for your posts.

If I may, I stepped totally away from the DT world and it was hard at first but it's also been a blessing. May God bless you in these coming days! You have been a treasure to this community and we are all very, very grateful for you!

Dearest sweet Melissa, I cannot lie, I’m in tears. I hope you’re going to be alright and will include you in my prayers. Selfishly, I’m heartbroken that the greatest design team of all, won’t be together again. Before I say how much I will miss you, (beyond words), I’m first concerned for you. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for sharing a part of you, that has changed my life. I can’t say goodbye, and I hope to see a post from you now and again. Be well my friend. All my love, Stephanie. 😊💗

Hi there sweet lady! This could end up being the 3rd comment by me. I tried leaving 2 last week, when I read all the departing news. I'm devastated. Please forgive me if this ends up being a duplicate message. First I want you to know that you aren't just a designer to me, but a friend who came into my home, month after month. I've followed your work since Papercrafts was still in print. I'm very serious when I say, had it not been for the inspiration and instruction along the way, I wouldn't be a card maker. I've admired your work, your style and immensely enjoyed your blog. I have learned from you for many years. How do I begin to say goodbye to you & the very best team in Paper crafting? I'm so lost and so sad. I've been grieving since I found out, that my favorite team will be gone. I will miss you more than I can express. When I read that you needed to take care of yourself, my prayers go with you dear Melissa. I pray it's not too serious and that with extra time and care, you will be well. That is paramount, over any selfish feelings I have. I want you to know that I will never forget you. And I am FOREVER grateful for everything! All my very best to you my friend. I miss you already. With all my love, Stephanie Clapper.

Melissa I've been checking your blog daily and when I didn't see any new posts, I decided to actually read your last posting. Oh my heart is heavy that we won't be enjoying your amazing creativity but your well being is the most important think! Take good care of yourself and know that we are all so grateful to have seen card and ink thru your eyes! I could never hope to create like you but I have been blessed by you, sharing the gift you have been given. All my best to you. (I will continue to check in now and then - just incase you should post an update on how you are doing) Keeping you in my prayers.

I adore your creations, and especially love having some of your Etsy's cards around me to see the full beauty of your work. You are in my prayers, dear sweet Melissa, and I wish you well. Sure been missing you!

Came to see what the comments were about. I hope you're feeling better & am glad you're listening to your heart & body, Melissa. Your work always amazes me--totally different than mine, but I love seeing it. It's wonderful how I'll see a color combo or stamps you use & be inspired to use them in my crafting. The baby card especially catches my eye--so unique & gorgeous!
