Welcome to Day 1 of The Greetery's May Release! I'm so happy to get to join the this month to celebrate their 1st Anniversary! My card created today uses the cutest celebration set called Balloon Bouquet along with the new Big Balloons coordinating dies.
I sponged ink on all of my balloons, spritzing them with water after to create a soft, transparent feel. On my largest balloon, I added flowers from the Balloon Bouquet stamp set, layering yellow blooms under a larger pink bloom. I selected the Welcome Baby sentiment from this set to turn this into a celebration card for the new baby.
Behind my balloons, I used the darling, new Twisted Crepe dies...I LOVE these! I sponged ink on them once again and then added a bit of watermark ink, sprinkled on embossing glitter, and watched the magic happen as I heat embossed each twisted ribbon.
To finish, I added a second sentiment from the Balloon Bouquet set near the bottom. I love this fun font and all of the special sentiments included.
To celebrate, The Greetery is giving away two $50 gift certificates to lucky individuals who leave comments on the blogs of each designer. Comments left will be entered into the giveaway and the winners will be announced on Friday morning on The Greetery blog.
The list of all designers is listed below.

Wow, so soft and beautiful. I really like the double layer of the flowers; that's a neat, different look than just the single layer. Thanks for sharing!
