Reverse Confetti February Blog Hop…

Hello, friends!  Welcome to the February Reverse Confetti Creative Blog Hop.  You’ll find a list of all the contributors at the bottom of my post.  Prepare to fall in love!

I’ve used the darling Poppies stamp set and dies on my card today.  They are my favorites and I can’t quite get enough of them.  After stamping them, I added a few droplets of water to created a watercolor look.

I layered my Poppies over a die cut tag, cut using the Lovely Tag Confetti Cuts.  I love that this set comes with two different sizes of hearts.  I’ve used the larger on my tag, cutting a window in the center of my tag.

I used a sentiment from the Big Heart Sentiments stamp set and dies.  This set is full of the most perfect sentiments for Valentine’s Day or many other occasions.

In the background I’ve used the Stiched Daisies Cover Panel over patterned paper.  I love the soft, delicate feel it adds to my pretty Poppies.

Reverse Confetti Blog Hop…

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti January Release Blog Hop!  You’ll find all of the blog hop participants listed below.  

I’ve used the new Lovely Tag dies on my card, using the large heart to die cut a window in my tag.  I then added patterned paper and vellum behind my window and embellished with the smaller heart from the Lovely Tag dies and a die cut and stamped sentiment from the new Big Heart Sentiments.

Across the bottom of my tag I have used the new Valentine Sentiments stamp set.  I adore this set, the font used, and all of the creative sentiments to choose from.

Behind my tag I have used the new Stitched Daisies Cover Panel die.  I added die cut glitter hearts, cut using the new Large Circle of Hearts dies and Big Heart Sentiments dies.

Reverse Confetti Day 3…

Happy Day 3 of the Reverse Confetti January Release!  My card today uses the gorgeous, new Hello Daisy stamp set and dies.  Isn’t this stamp set beautiful?

I stamped my daisies on white cardstock and heat embossed them using white embossing powder.  I then used ink, Prima watercolor color pencils and Zig Watercolor Markers to add color.  I stamped my sentiment in multiple shades of pink and matted it using foam adhesive squares.

In the background, I used the new Postal Cover Panel die.  All of these lovely, new products will be available on January 8th at Reverse Confetti.

Reverse Confetti Day 2…

Welcome to Day 2 of the Reverse Confetti January Release.  My card today uses some beautiful, new things from Reverse Confetti.  Let’s get started.

I’ve used the new Layered Lots of Love die for my main sentiment.  Isn’t it fun and versatile?  There are so many ways to use this.  I’ve sponged ink over my top layer in the same colors I used on my flowers.  I added just a few drops of water and let the magic happen.  I layered my Lots of Love die over a heart cut from the new Postal Cover Panel.

The sweet flowers are from the new Poppies stamp set and dies.  I love them!  They’re a 4-step stamp set and create such a fun, multi-layered look.  The secondary sentiment near the bottom is also from the Poppies stamp set.  In the background you’ll notice I used the new, Stitched Daisies Cover Panel.  These new products will be available on January 8th at Reverse Confetti.

Reverse Confetti Day 1…

Hello there!  It’s sure been a long time since I’ve tuned into my poor, neglected blog, hasn’t it?  I’m here to share projects created for Reverse Confetti as their Guest Designer, and I couldn’t be happier.

My first card uses the new Love Bugs stamp set and dies.  I am so happy to create with these darling little bugs…Valentine’s Day cards are my favorites!  I paper-pieced my Love Bugs and used Copic Markers for color and shading.

I’ve also used the new Postal Cover Panel dies.  This die set comes with the cute background and heart dies, so you get lots of fun options to create with.  I layered my hearts, adding in the heart swirl from the Love Bugs set.

I used hearts from the Love Bugs stamp set to create my background on white cardstock.  This set is so playful and full of the cutest images and sentiments, such as the one I used on this card.

Ready for some more cuteness?  Have I mentioned how much I love creating Valentine’s Day cards? :). I used the new Large Circle of Hearts die on this card.  Heart Lovers…this one is for you!  I adore it.  

I added in contrasting hearts around the circle using a die included in this set.  Hearts from the new, Big Hearts Sentiments stamp set were stamped on these heart die cuts to add in more character and detail. My sentiment across the front is also from the new Big Hearts Sentiments stamp and die sets.  

In the background I have used the new Stitched Daisies Cover Panel.  Isn’t this the cutest background?  Across the bottom I used a sentiment from the new Valentine Sentiments stamp set…another favorite of mine.  You’ll love all of the sweet sentiments to choose from.

reverse confetti january blog hop...

Morning!  Welcome to the January Reverse Confetti blog hop!  My card today uses a few of the new sets combined together.  I began with the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts and used the largest one to frame in my hearts.

I stamped a couple of images from the new Love You Most stamp set and framed them in using hearts cut using the new Patterned Hearts dies.  I used paper from the new From Cupid 6x6 Paper Pad.  

Lastly, I added flowers stamped and die cut using the new Happy Bee Day stamp set and colored using my Copic markers.  

So many sweet new products to enjoy and they're all now available at Reverse Confetti!

countdown to confetti: day 3...

Hello friends!  Today's post from Reverse Confetti showcases the new Happy Bee Day stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.  It's just the cutest set with the most unique sentiments!

You know how I love to paper-piece!  So for my tiny honey jar, I used patterned paper to bring in color and pattern, plus a bit of coloring with my Copics.  I created a focal point by using the Fa La La Circle Confetti Cuts layered over cardstock created using the Lacy Scalloped Circles Confetti Cuts.  After stamping my sentiment, I then ran my die cut circle through with the new Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel.

Lastly, I stamped and die cut some sweet flowers from the new Happy Bee Day set and added color with my Copics.  I added them around my honey jar as well as sequins to finish.  Truly such a sweet set...perfect for friendship cards I think.

countdown to confetti: day 2...

Hey there, Valentine!  Welcome to Day 2 of the January Reverse Confetti Release.  I've used the sweetest set ever on my card today, it's called Big Bear and I adore it.

I paper-pieced my bear and his scarf and attached him to a die cut Pierced Round Top Layer.  My sentiment was stamped vertically down the side and is from the new Heart Pals stamp set.  The flowers are from another new set you'll hear more about tomorrow :).

In the background, I've used the new Hex Cover Panel and added bits of patterned paper from the new From Cupid 6x6 Paper Pad behind each window.  

I finished with tiny hearts, cut from the XOXO Hearts die, sequins, and trimmings.

countdown to confetti: day 1...

Good morning!  It's Day 1 of the Reverse Confetti January release.  I am crazy about all of the sweet, new products coming your way!  They'll all be available on January 8th!

My card today uses the delightful, new Patterned Hearts stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I stamped my heart using Salsa Ink and then added my sentiment across the front using Midnight ink.  I  love all of the fun mix and match patterns in this set along with the dies which make this set even more fun to use!

I added a few flowers beneath my heart using the Blooms 'N Buds stamp set and Confetti Cuts.  My leaves are from the Mod Floral Stacks stamp set, with the veins from the Blooms 'N Buds.  I layered my images over a Pop Up Circle, Fa La La Circle, and Linked Circles Cover Panel Confetti Cuts.  The fun paper behind my heart is from the new From Cupid 6x6 Paper Pad...a must have too!

always and forever...

Hello and Happy New Year's Eve Eve!  My card today uses the new Always and Forever stamp set from Simon Says Stamp's You Are Loved release.  This sentiment just has my heart in every sense of the word...makes me think of my sweet guy.

Along with the fun sentiment, I used Banner in Bloom for my florals from Reverse Confetti, stamping them in watermark ink and heat embossing them using white embossing powder.  I then sponged color over my images and added water and watercolor markers.

In the background, I used more florals from the Elegant Florals stamp set from Reverse Confetti along with patterned paper and vellum to soften the colors.

dieCember from simon says stamp...

Hello!  Just sharing a sweet card created with the new Bixby Background die from Simon Says Stamp DieCember collection.  I heart it!

I die cut it from the center of a die cut Spellbinders Eau de Lavende die...it's the precious, detailed floral in the center.  At the top and bottom, I added stamped and die cut flowers using the Elegant Florals stamp set from Reverse Confetti.

I then stamped my sentiment on a die cut banner and added it to the center of my card, followed by a die cut heart, cut using the XOXO Hearts Die.

reverse confetti: december blog hop...

Hello!  Welcome to the December Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!  Our hop is a fun one this month as we have each created a new project for you and are sharing our 3 favorite projects from 2018.  This year has gone by faster than the others it seems!

For my new project, I created a tag using the Kitchen Love stamp set and coordinating dies.  This has been one of my  most favorite sets and since I love to bake, it fits in perfectly around here.

I paper-pieced my mixing bowls and added color using my Copics to my rolling pin, wire whisk, and flowers, which are from the Fall for You stamp set.

I added the wreath from the Fall for You stamp set in the background, wanting to create a Christmas-themed tag for my fresh baked goodies.  The supplies used on this project as well as the stamp sets used on my following projects are listed for you at the end of my post.

One of my favorite projects from 2018 is my handmade Easter gift bag.  I remember experimenting with water-colors as I was creating this, and loved how the Banner in Bloom stamp set looked using this fun technique.

My next favorite project from 2018 was this card created using the Cotton & Thistles stamp set.  I fell in love with this set instantly, and knew I'd love creating with it.  I also remember a sweet comment my  mom made about this card and I popped it right in the mail to send to her...one of the other reasons I love this card :).

Lastly, this card was created using the Something Wonderful stamp set and it has to be the most gorgeous floral stamp set I have ever seen.  The sweet sentiments in this set make it another special set that very easily creates unforgettable cards :).

reverse confetti: november blog hop...

Hello!  Welcome to the Reverse Confetti November Blog Hop!  All of the delightful, new products I've shared over the past few days are now available!

I used the new Drink More Coffee stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts on my card today, pairing it with the Christmas Candles stamp set.  I love the saying found in Christmas Candles and thought it fit perfectly with the cups of hot cocoa for the holidays.

I used the Lacy Scalloped Circles Confetti Cut to form my focal point and stamped and layered my images directly onto it.

I also used the new Scalloped Bag & Tags Creator with the new Winter Solstice 6x6 paper pad to create my patterned paper layers behind my stamped images.  

Lots to love this month and now it's time to shop!

countdown to confetti: day 3...

Today the Reverse Confetti team is introducing the fun, new Snowflake Magic stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.  One cannot have too many snowflake sets in my opinion, and this one is playful and unique, not to mention it has such fun sentiments as well.

I created a trio of tags using the new Grid Stitched Tag Confetti Cut.  They are cut from Polar White cardstock and each has a strip of coordinating paper adhered across the center from the new Winter Solstice 6x6 Paper Pad.

I then layered on my dimensional snowflakes, which were stamped in a variety of colors:  Piggy Bank, Iced Aqua, Rose, Aqua, Lagoon, Pistachio, and Lime Green.

I finished with a few sequins, silver jingle bells, and junk bows tied at the top.

I adore the new Snowflake Magic products!  They'll be available on November 8th at Reverse Confetti!

countdown to confetti: day 2...

Morning!  Welcome to Day 2 of Reverse Confetti's November Countdown.  Today's card uses the new Snow Bunnies stamp set and coordinating dies....so sweet!

 

I began with the new Snowballs Cover Panel in the background, layered over Baby Blue yardstick.  Next, I added a strip of patterned paper from the new Winter Solstice 6x6 paper pad.

My sweet, skating bunnies were colored using my Copic and layered over a Lacy Scallops Circle, the Fa La La, and Boo to You Confetti Cuts.  To finish I added snowflakes cut using the Snowflake Trio dies.

countdown to confetti: day 1...

Hello, friends!  Today is the first day of the Reverse Confetti November Countdown.  This month is going to be such a fun one!

I've used the new Christmas Circles stamp set along with the new Scalloped Bag & Tags, Snowballs Cover Panel, and Grid Stitched Tag on my card today.  My color scheme centers around the most delightful, new Winter Solstice 6x6 Paper Pad....Love it!  You can see the Snowballs Cover Panel used in the background, die cut from Salsa cardstock with a strip of Winter Solstice paper attached across the front of the card.

I then added my die cut Grid Stitched Tag which I added color to by sponging on a bit of Piggy Bank and Iced Aqua ink.  Next, I added my Christmas Circles stamped images, die cut using the Scalloped Bag & Tags Creator and stamped in Piggy Bank and Iced Aqua.  To finish, I added a couple of Triangle Tree images and Snowflake Trio die cuts.  Creating for Christmas is so much fun using these sweet, new products!

happy fall-idays, day 3...

Hello and Happy Fall-idays!  The Reverse Confetti team has one last day of fun, festive creations for you!  I used the Reverse Confetti Clear Totes for my project, adding a handmade tag to dress it up for the holidays.

My tag base was made using the Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts and Polar Cardstock.  I then added a die cut Leafy Wreath cut from patterned paper.

I dressed up my wreath by using the Vintage Ornaments stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts as well as the Christmas Candles stamp set with coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I added a few sequins here and there as berries.

Lastly, I die cut snowflakes using the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts and Salsa cardstock and added them to my tag to finish.  

Tags are a second love for me and creating them in a variety of shapes makes them even more fun.

reverse confetti fall-idays day 1...

Hello!  We at Reverse Confetti are having a fun, Fall-idays blog hop over the next few days.  My cards today are all about autumn and Halloween and I have loved using my Reverse Confetti supplies to celebrate this special time of year.

I used the gorgeous Fall Foliage stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts on my first card.  I stamped the images in watermark ink and then heat embossed them with gold embossing powder.  I then added color using ink blending and a few speckles created with embossing enamel once I was finished. 

I love adding in pinks and purples for autumn and these images are perfect for sponging on some fun and unique colors for fall.  I used a sentiment from the Autumn Blessings stamp set, paper from the Cheerful & Kind 6x6 paper pad, and the sweet Small Diamond Cover Penal in the background.

My next card uses the darling ghost and pumpkin from the Frightening Friends stamp set with the coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I stamped the spooky trees, clouds, and moon in the background on a block of Midnight cardstock.

I cut the panel for the front of my card along with the two strips of coordinating paper using the Bag & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts.  

I love creating Halloween cards with the sweet and whimsical images from the Frightening Friends stamp set....Halloween will be here and gone before we know it, so create your heart out while you can :).

reverse confetti september blog hop...

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti September Blog Hop!  I am crazy for the new Christmas Candles stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts used on my project today...favorites for sure!

I have used the darling Bag & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts to create my mini gift bag and embellished the front with my Christmas Candles.  I used vellum on the front side of my bag and partnered paper on the backside, and love the way the polka dots very subtly show through to the front.  I scored the backside of my bag twice across the bottom, allowing the bottom edge to fold up over the front of my vellum layer.

My candles are layered over a die cut Round Top Tag, cut from Sand cardstock.  After stamping my candles, I colored them using my Copics and then melted Shabby Green Embossing Enamel to their fronts along with my stamped holly leaves and berries.  I love the tiny pine sprigs included in the Christmas Candles set as well...they make such great fillers.

I then created a tag using the Bag & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts once again, stamping my sentiment on the top layer and embellishing with another holly and berry sprig.

countdown to confetti: day 2...

It's Day 2 of the Reverse Confetti September Countdown and today might just be my most favorite day of the release yet!  My card was created with the new Cotton & Thistle stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.

You'll have to check out the images included in the complete set of Cotton & Thistle to see just how darling this set is.  I used the bundle of blooms for my card, stamping my images on watercolor cardstock, adding a bit of water to make the ink puddle and pool, and then added color using my Zig Clean Color Markers...then more water :).  I also added melted embossing enamel to add in texture and personality.

Before adhering my Cotton & Thistle bundles, I tied them together using trim and seam binding.  My sentiment and wreath are from the new Fall Foliage stamp set...another truly delightful set, perfect for this time of year!

I used the Wreaths Confetti Cuts, cutting the wreath apart, and adding in tiny bits of it to create more depth and dimension to my wreath.

countdown to confetti: day 1...

Hello friends!  I'm happy to be here with you today, sharing fun, new products from Reverse Confetti!  Their September release is underway and is sure to inspire!

I have used the darling Frightening Friends stamp set and Confetti Cuts on my card, ink blending and using my Copics to add color to my spooky scene.  As always, I love the sweet and creating sentiments included in this set...so hard to choose one to use on today's card :).

In the background, I have used the new Cover Panel Triangles Confetti Cut, cutting it from black cardstock and adding patterned paper behind.  I then used paper from the new Abundant Autumn 6x6 Paper Pad along with Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts to create my outer circle.  I then used vellum and the Fa La La Circle Confetti Cuts to create my inner circles, followed by Buttercup cardstock, vellum, and the Pop Up Circle Confetti Cut.  

Here's a full view of these fun products!  Don't you just love this time of year?!

Hello my friends!  Welcome to the August Reverse Confetti blog hop!  Today's hop is going to be so much fun because it's all about patterned paper....one of my most favorite elements.  I went with an Autumn color scheme, using paper from both the 6x6 Paper Bliss and Fun Times paper pads to add color across the center of my card.  I love how the bright orange and green look on a neutral, Sand cardstock base.

I used the Large Eyelet Cover Panel in the background, stamping a subtle design over it using the Elegant Florals stamp set.  I then created a focal point using the Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts and the Pumpkin Patch stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.

I brought in a few more florals using the Build A Bunch stamp set and Confetti Cuts.  Love this sweet set as it can be used for seasons throughout the year.  To finish, I added a junk bow and enamel dots.  I'm ready for some Autumn here, how about you?

friendly frolic...

Morning!  It's hot and slightly miserable around here lately and I suppose I'm jumping the gun a bit, but I feel like crafting for Fall!  I used supplies from Simon Says Stamp's new Friendly Frolic release on my card today...such a fun release!

The new Friendly Frolic Diamond Pattern Wafer Die is beautiful and you can see it here, used as my background.  I cut it from scarlet cardstock, layering it over cream cardstock.  I added melted enamel splatters using Shabby Green Embossing Enamel from Stampendous.

Over my background, I added fun toppings using patterned paper and stamps from Carta Bella's new Fall Break collection.  Oh how I love this sweet new line....makes me happy!  To create a patterned paper border in coordinating colors, I used Fall Break paper along with the Spellbinders Lily Pearl Flat Fold die.  

I brought in texture and dimension by die cutting leaves from corrugated and glittered cardstock, two of my favorite elements.  Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Fall Break stamp set on a tag cut using the Round Top Tag from Reverse Confetti and then added a few enamel dots to finish.

reverse confetti july blog hop...

Good morning!  Today is the July Reverse Confetti blog hop and I have chosen to use the beautiful Elegant Florals stamp set on my card.  This set is going to sit permanently on my craft table because I LOVE it so much :).

I stamped my floral image on my white card base using Wine ink.  I then added my die cut square, cut using the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts and new Cue the Confetti 6x6 paper.  Next came my sentiment, stamped using the new Mod Floral Stack.

I then stamped my floral images on Stormy cardstock using watermark ink and heat embossed them using white embossing powder.  I added a bit of color using colored pencils.  I added them over my frame, layering the smaller floral stamp over the larger to add dimension.

Across the bottom, I added more Stormy cardstock that had been stamped in watermark ink using images from the Elegant Florals stamp set.

countdown to confetti: day 3...

I'm 100% crazy about the sweet critters in the darling, new Greatest Adventure stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti!  

I stamped my images on Sand cardstock , added color using Copic markers and colored pencils, and then cut them out using the coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I added a few melted enamel splatters to my trees using embossing enamel.  The sentiments in this set have to be my absolute favorites!  I'm kind of a girl who loves her mountains and fresh air, and most definitely s'mores :).  I used the Boo to You Circle Confetti Cut to form my focal point and added my stamped images and sentiments over the top.

In the background, I've used more Sand cardstock and the new Striped Circle Cover Panel.  This is SO much fun!  I topped it with some patterned vellum to add softness, and also added a strip of paper from the new Cue the Confetti 6x6 Paper Pad.

New Reverse Confetti Products Used:

 

countdown to confetti: day 2...

Hello!  It's Day 2 of Reverse Confetti's July release, and today you're in for such a fun treat!  I've used two new sets on my card, the Mod Floral Stack, and Pattern Builder.

But first, let's start with that fun die cut you can see in the background.  It is the new Geo Panel Confetti Cut and is perfect for both of these playful sets.  My large, layered flower uses the new Pattern Builder set.  I think I could sit and be mesmerized with this stamp set and coordinating dies for days!

I used the Kindness Cards Confetti Cut to create my Lime Green layer, stamping the Mod Floral Stack stamp set in Lime Green ink.  I love tone on tone!  I then stamped my sentiment, also from the Mod Floral Stack set.  I brought in the Wreath Confetti Cut as well, creating a clean and simple wreath using these very  modern designs.  The paper across the bottom is from the new Cue the Confetti 6x6 Paper Pad.

New Reverse Confetti Product Used:

 

countdown to confetti - day 1...

Happy 5th of July!  Hope you all had a very special 4th :).  It's day 1 of the July Reverse Confetti Countdown and today we are introducing two gorgeous new sets....I love them both!

I used the new Elegant Florals to create my sweet border of flowers around my sentiment.  I stamped images from the Elegant Florals stamp set on a die cut Stitched Squares Confetti Cut.  I stamped in watermark ink and heat embossed using white embossing powder.  Once the powder was set, I sponged on ink in soft aqua, pink, yellow, and green.  I then added a spritz of water and added a big of color using my Zig Clean Color Markers.

I then cut a block of cardstock to fit the center of my square and stamped my sentiment from the new The Most Beauty stamp set.  This set is full of the most beautiful and thoughtful sentiments.  My card base was also stamped using lovely images from the new Elegant Florals stamp set.

New Reverse Confetti Products Used:
 

reverse confetti june blog hop...

Good morning!  It's Fri-Yay!  Today the Reverse Confetti team is having a blog hop celebrating SUMMER :).  I've used the darling Hey, Sugar stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts to create my card.

I stamped my popsicles on watercolor cardstock using watermark ink.  I then heat embossed each images using white embossing powder.  I then added color using my RC inks and a foam applicator, blending the colors softly.  Next came a bit of water to help the colors take on that fun watercolor feel, and lastly, I added a few white platters.

After I had assembled my card base, I cut tags using the Tall Tag Trio Confetti Cuts to fit across the front of my card.  I added stamped images using the My Tribe and Moon Men stamp sets.  My sentiment comes from the Hey, Sugar stamp set and was stamped in Coral ink.  All that was left was to add my popsicles and a few tiny star sequins.

Welcome to the May Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!  We have plenty of fun waiting for you!  My card uses the new My Tribe stamp set.  The sentiments in this are fabulous and so unique....love this set!

I stamped my sentiment in watermark ink on a die cut Round Top Tag Confetti Cut.  I then heat embossed my sentiment using white embossing powder.  Next, I sponged ink on in soft pastels and then spritzed on water to create a subtle watercolor feel.

Behind my tag, I've used the new Polka Panel Confetti Cut...I adore this fun die!  I embellished with flowers from the Build A Bunch stamp set...also stamped in watermark ink and heat embossed using white embossing powder.

Morning!  Welcome to Day 2 of Reverse Confetti's May Release and 5th Birthday celebration!  My card today uses the fun, new Pattern Blocks stamp set....I LOVE it!

I watercolored my center pattern block after heat embossing it using white embossing powder.  In the background through, I used my Pattern Block stamp set to create my floral background.  

I framed my focal point using the new Stitched Squared Confetti Cuts, paired with the Scalloped Square Confetti Cuts.  I then stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from Pattern Blocks on vellum.  You can catch a little peek near the bottom of a new 6x6 paper pad called Paper Bliss...it's like a party in itself!

countdown to confetti: day 1...

Did you know that it's Reverse Confetti's 5th Birthday?  Yep, and there are some seriously sweet new products coming your way this month!  My card today uses the new Hey, Sugar stamp set and Confetti Cuts.  I'm smitten with the tiny donuts, cake, etc.

I stamped my images using watermark ink and white embossing powder and then adding color using ink blending and a bit of Copic coloring.  They are layered over another new product this month, the Polka Dot Panel...so cute!

I used two sentiments on this card, one from the Hey, Sugar stamp set and the second from the new Birthday Wishes set.

simon says stamp fluttering by blog hop...

Hello! I am so happy to get to join Simon Says Stamp in celebration of their new Fluttering By release!

For my project, I've used the new Stitching Butterflies Wafer Dies from the Fluttering By release.  I am in love with these cuties!  They are so intricate, delicate, and dainty :)...so much fun to get creative with!

I die cut my Stitching Butterflies from Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock.   I then sponged on soft pastels, using a couple of different shades of the same color on each butterfly.  

Next, I  spritzed my butterflies with a bit of water and used my heat tool to help speed up the drying process.  Once dry, I added white paint splatters and embossing enamel to create some soft splatters.  The tiny bodies of each butterfly were colored with my Copic markers in coordinating colors.

These lovely Stitching Butterflies are just begging to be used with patterned paper next :).  Mixing and matching  patterns is one of my favorite things to do with dies, and these three-piece dies are perfect for just that, so stay tuned!

Hello there!  Welcome to the Reverse Confetti April blog hop.  This month we are celebrating all things family, mom, dad. graduation, etc.  The next few months are loaded with lots of special occasions for special loved ones.

My mom is one of my absolute favorite people. and I love creating just for her, so my card today is a Mother's Day card, created with her in mind.  I used the Build A Bunch stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts for my colored blooms.  I stamped them in watermark ink and then heat embossed them using gold embossing powder.  I then added color using ink blending and Zig Clean Color Markers.

I then used the Banner in Bloom stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts for my sentiment.  These images are all layered over a die cut Lacy Scallop Circle.  In the background, I used paper from Fun Times and Forever My Love 6x6 Paper Pads.

reverse confetti & my sweet petunia spring fling blog hop...

Good morning!  Thank you so much for hopping by for the Reverse Confetti/My Sweet Petunia blog hop.  We are celebrating all things spring with creations using products from both of these amazing companies.  I created an Easter gift bag for the occasion and will explain what products I've used in just a bit.

For my gift bag, I began with the Small Diamond Tiles Cover Panel from Reverse Confetti.  After die cutting it from Polar cardstock, I cut a solid block of Piggy Bank cardstock to fit the backside, and using adhesive around the sides and bottom edges, secured the two layers together and made a pocket/gift bag.

I then used the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts to create my focal point, using paper from the 6x6 Fun Times Paper Pad and Polar cardstock.  I chose to use a sentiment from the Easter Blessings stamp set, stamping in Olive.  I used my MISTI stamping tool to create a nice, solid image...love that you can ink your sentiment or image after each time stamping with it, and it will stay positioned so that as you layer on more ink, it becomes bold and perfectly stamped.

Next, I added florals from the Banner in Bloom stamp set, and used my MISTI once again, this time stamping on watercolor cardstock using watermark ink.  I then heat embossed using white embossing powder and added color through ink blending.  Next came a bit of water to give it a water-color look, and then I added color using Zig Clean Color Markers and a few embossing enamel splatters.

Hello!  It's another creative day of new releases from Reverse Confetti!  Today we are sharing projects created using the new My Sunshine stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I adore this set!

I began by stamping my background using images from this set in multiple colors.  I then used the new Dashed Line Tag die to create a tag layered underneath my Lacy Scallop Circle and focal point.

I stamped several layers for my sunshine using images and coordinating dies.  The dies are what really make this set come to life and add personality and dimension.  I added a bit of paper across the bottom from the new Fun Times 6x6 Paper Pad to finish.

Morning!  Are you ready for more new releases from Reverse Confetti?  The new Tall Blooms will knock your socks off...it's beautiful!

I stamped my blooms on watercolor cardstock using watermark ink.  I then coated them with white embossing powder and heat embossed the images.  Next I added color using my Zig Clean Color Markers and my water brush.  They were then ready to cut out using the coordinating Confetti Cuts.

I love the font used for the sentiments in this set...LOVE!  In the background, I used paper from the new Fun Times 6x6 Paper Pad and used the Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts to create a base for my Tall Blooms.  You'll love this set!

countdown to confetti - honey bear...

Hello, friends!  Today is the first day for the March Reverse Confetti Countdown and are you ever in for some fun!  I've used the darling, new Honey Bear stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts on my card today.

The sentiments are perfect for friends, teachers, and many other special people in your life.  I've always been a sucker for honeybees and bears, so I am tickled to have the chance to create with this new set.  I used a bit of paper-piecing, coloring with Copics, and also some ink blending to bring in color.

In the background I've used the darling, new Stitched Rays Cover Panel...truly so much fun!  You can also catch a peek at paper from the new Fun Times 6x6 Paper Pad.

I created a trio of gift bags using the darling Berry Sweet stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I created tags for my bags using the Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts, creating a background behind my strawberries using images from the Build A Bunch stamp set

I love the play on words included in this set....so much fun for Valentine's Day :).  I used the Falling Hearts Panel on the front of my glassine bags, using patterned paper and Polar White cardstock.  A few of my hearts on the Falling Hearts Panel were stamped with flowers from the Berry Sweet stamp set.

Lastly I added sequins and junk bows and a bit of tissue paper garland across the top and now they're ready to fill and share with someone special.

Hello again!  Today's just the best Monday ever....shopping is available for new release products from Reverse Confetti!  Today's blog hop is packed with so many inspiring products and amazing artists.  I'm excited to be part of it!  

My card today uses the new Kindness Cards stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts...what a sweet and unique and playful set this is!  I stamped and die cut the first portion of my sentiment and adhered it to the top of my die cut Kindness Card and added the second portion of my sentiment across the bottom.

I used the new Something Wonderful stamp set and Confetti Cut on my Kindness card, creating a subtle background using the floral image in the set and then adding a die cut and stamped image over the top to add dimension.  LOVE Something Wonderful :).  I used a bit of patterned paper from the new Forever My Love 6x6 Paper Pad in the background to tie in all of the colors I used.

countdown to confetti: something wonderful...

Hello, dear friends!  Welcome to Day 3 of the Reverse Confetti January Countdown.  I am crazy in love with this new stamp set I used on my card today...it's called Something Wonderful and it truly is WONDERFUL and so beautiful!

I began with watercolor cardstock and stamped my flowers from the Something Wonderful stamp set in watermark ink.  I then heat embossed my images using white embossing powder.  Next, I added color using Prima Water Soluble Oil Pastels and my water brush.  I added a few splatters of color as well and once everything had dried, adhered my watercolor panel  to my card base.

I then stamped my sentiment (isn't that font lovely!) and added it along with trim to my card front.  Lastly, I stamped and heat embossed one more flower on vellum, used the coordinating Confetti Cut to die cut it from the vellum,  and added it as my last layer.  This stamp set is just a dream to create with...I love it!

Morning!  Welcome to Day 2 of the Reverse Confetti January Countdown!  Today I'm sharing a card I created using the new Heart Spots stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.

I'm a sucker for Valentine's Day, hearts, flowers, pink, red, and playful sentiments...and this set has all of those things!  I used the Round Top Tag Confetti Cut to create my focal point and layered it over white cardsotck and a strip of paper from the Cheerful & Kind 6x6 Paper Pad.

I added color to my stamped images using a bit of ink sponging and Copic Markers.  And, since I LOVE the sentiments in this set, I added two :).

countdown to confetti: heart filled sentiments...

Good morning!  Welcome to Day 1 of the Reverse Confetti January Release.  It's a sweet one, filled with hearts and flowers and all of the things I love!

My card today uses the new Heart Filled Sentiments stamp set...it's loaded with the most perfect sentiments for Valentine's Day and lots of other occasions.  I stamped my sentiment in Coral ink and layered it over thew new Falling Hearts Panel.  Be warned....you'll not be able to put this darling thing away!  I love it!

My Falling Hearts Panel was cut using paper from the new Forever My Love 6x6 Paper Pad.  Isn't that the most beautiful shade of aqua?   It is layered over a sheet of vellum to bring in some softness to my background.  I then die cut several smaller hearts to adhere over the larger ones, using the Heart Banners Confetti Cuts and assorted patterned paper, including more from the Forever My Love Paper Pad.

All of these delightful new products will be available on January 8th!

reverse confetti december blog hop...

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti December Blog Hop!  Today I've chosen to use the darling Cool Friend stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts to create a sweet little tag and gift wrap.

I LOVE paper-piecing and have used that technique here on my two snowmen, adding patterned paper to their hats.  I used paper from the Very Merry and Warm Heart 6x paper pads.  I also used Copic Markers and Stickles in Diamond to add color and shimmer.  My tag was created using the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts and paper from the Cheerful & Kind 6x6 paper pad.  

I added a few snowflakes cut from glitter cardstock using the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts and attached it to my gift box.  It was created using the Clear Box & Wrap Combo and paper from the Very Merry 6x6 paper pad.  I LOVE clear boxes and Reverse Confetti has the funnest collection of them that make packages look so pretty!

reverse confetti november blog hop...

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti November Blog Hop!  Today, I've chosen to use one of my favorite sets from the new release, the Kitchen Love stamp set.  The tiny little slice of pie was begging to be used with Thanksgiving upon us :).

My stamped images from Kitchen Love were colored in using my Copics.  I used the new Scallop Stripe Panel in the background.  I just love the subtle layering this adds.

My focal point was then created using the new Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts.  My outer layer was cut using paper from the new Cheerful & Kind paper pad, with a second layer cut from vellum, to create a soft shade of green to match my stamped images.  I've used one of my most favorite sentiments from the set to tie everything together.

countdown to confetti - day 3...

It's Day 3 of the Reverse Confetti November release and you're going to LOVE today's stamp set.  It's called Happy Winter and it's perfect for snowy January days, but also fun for your holiday cards as well.

I used the new Large Diamond Cover Panel in the background, adding a strip of patterned paper from the Cheerful & Kind 6x6 Paper Pad.  I then created my focal point by using the new Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts, adding more Cheerful & Kind paper to the opening, followed by a bit of vellum.

I then added colorful snowflakes and winter hat from the Happy Winter stamp set.  Across the bottom I chose to use a sentiment from the Cool Friend stamp set...the sentiments in this set pair perfectly with Happy Winter :).

countdown to confetti - day 2...

Good morning!  Today we're kicking off the start to a new week with more new release products from Reverse Confetti!  Today's card uses a new set that has already become my favorite :)....it's the new Kitchen Love stamp set.  The coordinating Confetti Cuts are a must have too, as they bring the sweet baking images to life!

I knew after my first glance at the tiny mixing bowl that I wanted to paper piece a few of them and love how they've turned out.  I added a bit of color with my Copic markers as well.  They are stacked one on top of another with the new Small Diamond Tiles Cover Panel used in the background...love this too!  

I layered my Cover Panel over patterned paper to create a bit of contrast.  My sentiment is stamped on a die cut Tag Duo and I added a few felt leaves cut using the Leafy Wreath Confetti Cuts.

countdown to confetti - day 1...

Hello there!  Happy November!  We are kicking off a new month with delightful new products from Reverse Confetti...they are pretty irresistible :).  All of the new products you'll see over the next couple of days will be available for purchase on November 8th at Reverse Confetti.

My card today uses the darling new Sweet Holidays stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I adore gingerbread houses and this one has to be the cutest one I've ever seen in a stamp set!  I used some soft pastel Copic markers to color in my gingerbread house along with Wink of Stella to add a little shimmer.  Across the bottom of my card I used paper from the new Cheerful & Kind 6x6 Paper Pad.

In the background, I've used the new Scallop Stripe Panel with a bit of ink sponged on over the top portion and a few snowflakes stamped from another new set you'll here more about soon :).  It was hard choosing a sentiment from all of the sweet options available in this particular stamp set...they've all got to be used this holiday season as I love them all.

reverse confetti october blog hop...

Good morning, friends!  Today I'm celebrating fall with October's blog hop from Reverse Confetti!  There's plenty to enjoy by following the links below or by checking out the Reverse Confetti blog.

I was in the mood to create a twine pumpkin for autumn this year and created a tag for it using my Reverse Confetti stamps and dies.  I started with the FaLaLa Confetti Cut circle for my tag base, cutting it from the Every Little Bit 6x6 Paper Pad.

I then added a stamped and die cut wreath using the Fall for You stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I stamped my image in Wine ink and used my Copic markers to color in a few of the leaves.  I then added a stamped and die cut pumpkin from the darling Pumpkin Patch stamp set.   Such a fun and easy tag to create.

#STAMPtember!...

Happy September Saturday!  Hope that wherever you are today, you're safe, sound, dry, and cared for.  My goodness, there's so much going on in our world right now, I'm worried about my friends near and far.
